PORTS Recruitment & Career Center
The newly opened PORTS Recruitment & Career Center in Piketon serves as a hub for job seekers, students, and community members looking to connect with career opportunities across Pike County and Southeast Ohio. The center provides free career navigation services, resume assistance, interview preparation, career exploration, and access to training opportunities that support employment in growing industries, including skilled trades, construction, energy, engineering, and business services.
Through a partnership with GRIT and Future Plans, every individual who comes through the center’s doors will have the opportunity to complete the Future Plans Assessment and receive personalized coaching to help identify career pathways, explore opportunities, prepare for employment, and connect with jobs that align with their goals.
